Hello to all those faithfully reading and hopefully enjoying this effort to make even the worst horror movie more watcha... aw, screw that - I'm not that good. If a movie makes you cringe because yet another batch of unlikable teens that are pushing 30 are inching toward their deaths, having a party no one does anywhere ever, a paranormal movie is boring you to tears with unending pans of empty rooms, or thanks to CGI technology when people finally bite it, their blood squirts everywhere except on the victim, the ground, the people next to them... you're in good company and this is the right place for you.

CHARACTER ACTORS YOU'VE PROBABLY SEEN A LOT OF BUT DIDN'T REALIZE IT

Tom Savini

Calling Tom a character actor falls short of what an incredible person this man is. He is also a director, a stuntman, and an extremely talented special effects and makeup artist. Many special effects artists either emulate his work or were lucky enough to actually learn in Tom Savini's Special Make-Up Effects Program, a 16-month academic program at the Douglas Education Center in Monessen, Pennsylvania. The program awards an Associate Degree in Specialized Business.

This man has done nearly EVERYTHING. I first noticed him in From Dusk 'Til Dawn, a character known only as 'Sex Machine' who had a pistol embedded in his belt buckle (an invention he created himself) and not only was he incredibly handsome (and since Danny Trejo is also in this movie, it has real eye candy potential) but funny.

Again, I didn't know until later that he had many other talents until I saw a program on special effects and makeup and he was one of the experts they were interviewing. I saw him and just kind of... stared. Sigh. Definite eye candy.

Like Danny Trejo, Tom also fights against the stereotype that only twenty-somethings can do big, dangerous things and he is also in incredible shape. I will definitely watch anything he does, good bad or meh. Even Children Of The Living Dead. Seriously. He's just that good.
