It is with sorrow that we recognize today the loss of a great actor. Richard Lynch passed away 6/20/12. This is a guy so recognized that whatever you're watching, if he shows up you say 'Oh yeah, THAT guy...' and yet, most probably don't even know his name. Not because he didn't do much, he did a LOT. Rob Zombie himself announced the actor's passing, having personally picked him and being thrilled that he could be in the upcoming The Lords of Salem, his new movie.
Often portrayed as a 'bad guy' Richard was in many movies and television shows starting in the early 1970s. Some place you may have seen him (if you're old enough): Battlestar Galactica, Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, The Sword And The Sorcerer, Little Nikita, Highlander: The Series, and scores of others. His steely blue eyes and stern demeanor were well known to many. He was also a musician and could play several instruments. We're going to miss seeing you, 'THAT guy'...
