Hello to all those faithfully reading and hopefully enjoying this effort to make even the worst horror movie more watcha... aw, screw that - I'm not that good. If a movie makes you cringe because yet another batch of unlikable teens that are pushing 30 are inching toward their deaths, having a party no one does anywhere ever, a paranormal movie is boring you to tears with unending pans of empty rooms, or thanks to CGI technology when people finally bite it, their blood squirts everywhere except on the victim, the ground, the people next to them... you're in good company and this is the right place for you.

CHARACTER ACTORS YOU'VE PROBABLY SEEN A LOT OF BUT DIDN'T REALIZE IT

Brad Douriff

This is a man who has had a very wide and varied career and you've probably seen him a lot more than you think. Most know him (if they recognize the name) as the voice of Chucky, the doll of a franchise of movies, but this actor has been around, been there, done that, and done it well (that's not very good English, is it?).

Early in his career he had a very moving role in the movie One Flew Over A Cuckoo's Nest as Billy Bibbit, a shy, stuttering inmate playing against Jack Nicholson. That movie by the way was made in a real mental hospital in my home state. Pretty cool.

But he's done so many movies and television shows that to list them all here would take up a lot of space and you can just Google the list for yourself anyway if you're interested. My point is: there are movie stars, and there are those that make a movie interesting or more colorful by just being there. That is Brad.

Whether it's small walk-on roles or larger roles in horror movies or television shows, he just brings a special something that proves that, but for the grace of Hollywood and their love of the picture perfect twenty-something set, he could have been so much more. Not to say he's not much now, he's done, well, just about everything.

Don't think so? Check out his filmography, it's just damned impressive. I would watch anything with him in it, good, bad or meh.
